Born and raised in Vancouver, Brandon achieved his Human Kinetics bachelors degree at UBC Okanagan. He enjoys using his knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, and movement of the body to help people achieve their goals. He currently exercises for longevity and prevention of injury so he can continue to take part in his favourite hobbies. He had a severe injury while snowboarding, and has been using kinesiology methods to keep himself strong and pain free ever since. He played soccer for Fusion HPL growing up, so he understands the importance of strength and conditioning for sport performance. If he is not in the gym, you may find him exploring the west coast of BC. He loves surfing, hiking, and kayaking.
Terry Lok is a registered dietitian (RD) who emphasizes an evidence informed approach to building nutrition plans and dietary goals. His love for working with a clinically complex population and research projects in cancer has led to a career with BC Cancer, serving a population with intense nutrition needs. With a keen interest in targeted nutrition interventions for specific populations, Terry has expanded his personal practice to serve first responders and high performance athletes. As a retired varsity athlete, Terry understands the demand of high level sport, and the integral role nutrition plays. Terry believes in a coordinated and cohesive approach to nutrition interventions, focusing on a balance relative to the individual’s context. Terry aims to tease out the “how” and “why” in addition to the “what” an individual eats – in pursuit of their individual health goals.
Bill graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2002, and is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. He started doing personal training sessions at Overdrive because he was in poor physical shape and needed a safe foundation with proper attention to my needs and physical limitations. He continued training and finally started his CrossFit journey in July of 2020. It has been a huge blessing, not only physically, but mentally. He encourages all of his patients to be more active in their lives, and some of them have even joined him at Overdrive! When he’s not working or working out, you’ll find him volunteering at his kids’ different sports teams or his local church.
